Who runs IAF CertSearch?

IAF CertSearch is operated by the QT Group, an Australian business that builds and runs verification platforms for the global Testing, Inspection, Certification and Assurance (TICA) industry. It began as QualityTrade, a marketplace connecting quality-conscious buyers with ISO-certified suppliers. Its current products include:

The Trade Marketplace: a merit-based B2B platform that connects procurement professionals with verified, certified suppliers (suppliers are ranked on their credentials, not on how much they pay).
IAF CertSearch: the global repository of accredited management-system certifications, letting any buyer authenticate a certificate within their supply chain. It kept its IAF name after the international accreditation bodies reorganised in 2026.
CertCheck: the certification search database built for UKAS (the United Kingdom Accreditation Service).

CertSearch holds millions of accredited certifications from certification bodies worldwide. For a certified business the takeaway is simple: your certificate is no longer just a PDF in a tender response. It’s a credential buyers can look up and trust.

Why being listed and verifiable matters

Fake and lapsed certificates are a genuine problem, which is why serious buyers increasingly check certificates against an accreditation-body database rather than taking a logo at face value. Being independently verifiable does two things for you: it removes any doubt about whether your certification is real and current (see our guide on how to tell if an ISO certificate is real or fake), and it makes you discoverable to buyers actively looking for certified suppliers. Both shorten the trust-building part of a sale.

Who can register, and which certifications count

To be listed and verifiable, your certification needs to be issued by a third-party conformity assessment body (a certification body) that is itself accredited by a recognised accreditation body. Those accreditation bodies were members of the International Accreditation Forum until 1 January 2026, when the IAF and ILAC were replaced by Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated. In Australia the accreditation body is JAS-ANZ, so in practice this means a JAS-ANZ accredited certification body. Common management-system certifications that qualify include:
