About Streamline

Streamline is a full-service ISO consulting and internal auditing firm. For more than a decade we have helped Australian organisations get real-world results from their management systems, not certificates that gather dust. Every engagement is led directly by an experienced ISO Lead Auditor, and we do both halves of the job: we design and implement management systems, and we audit them. That second half is what shapes the first. When you are the one who has to go and test whether a system works, you stop building systems that only look like they work.

Led by an experienced ISO Lead Auditor

An audit involves very little reading of documents and a great deal of asking people questions, which is the part most organisations are surprised by. You can open a manual that answers every clause of the standard, sit down with the person who runs the process it describes, and establish in about ninety seconds that they have never opened it. The document conforms. The system does not exist.

So the tell is a simple one, and it is the first thing I look for: can the people doing the work describe the process in their own words? If they can, the system is real, whatever the documentation looks like. If they have to go looking for a file they have never opened, it is not, however complete that file is. Everything Streamline builds is designed to pass that test first, because a system that passes it passes the audit as a matter of course.

Our approach

A management system should make the business run better and satisfy the auditor as a by-product, in that order. So we build right-sized systems that reflect how your organisation already works: lean documentation, processes that match what people do, and a clear line of sight to certification. Written that way, the system earns its keep between audits, which is where it spends almost all of its life.

That is also why there is more than one way to work with us. We can design and implement the system end to end. Or, if you would rather keep ownership in-house, or you have started building with AI tools, we can mentor your team and provide an objective, impartial internal audit for clause 9.2. Either route produces the same thing: a system that works in practice and certifies with any JAS-ANZ accredited body.

Management systems we design, audit and mentor

The core five are ISO 9001 quality, ISO 45001 work health and safety, ISO 14001 environment, ISO 27001 information security and ISO 42001 AI management, and most engagements involve more than one of them. Beyond those we work on ISO 17025 testing and calibration for laboratories, HACCP and ISO 22000 food safety, and cyber advisory covering Essential Eight, SOC 2 and TISAX readiness.

Where several standards apply, they belong in one integrated system rather than several parallel ones. The clauses overlap heavily, the evidence is largely the same evidence, and running them separately means maintaining the same management review three times over. Built together, an integrated system also costs meaningfully less than the standalone equivalents.

Industry experience

Construction and the trades that surround it make up the largest share of the work: residential, commercial, high-rise and civil, together with the architecture, engineering and project management practices that serve them. Alongside that sits a broad spread of manufacturing and machining, transport and logistics, waste and recycling, mining and resources, primary production, food service and food manufacturing, aviation, healthcare from medical practices through primary and aged care to PHNs, medical devices, education across universities, RTOs and colleges, finance, legal and debt recovery, government agencies, calibration and testing laboratories, and information technology and SaaS.

The industry matters less than it looks like it should. A nonconformity raised against clause 8.1 reads much the same in a fabrication shop as it does in a medical practice, and the standards are written to be sector-neutral for exactly that reason. What changes is the risk profile and the language people use on the floor, and both of those are things we work out with your team rather than assume.

A growing focus on security and AI

Alongside the long-standing quality, safety and environmental work, more of what we do now sits in ISO 27001 information security and ISO 42001 AI management. These are the standards customers, regulators and tender panels have started asking for, and the pattern is consistent: they arrive as a condition of supply rather than as an ambition. Because both integrate cleanly with a system you may already hold, security and AI governance can go into the existing management system rather than running as a separate exercise beside it.
