Smartsheet have announced the introduction of major automation enhancements, which include new capabilities to:
- Combine multiple actions and conditional paths in a single workflow
- Set up recurring workflows to send regular reminders, status requests, and more
Smartsheet is extremely easy to use (same as Excel), very cost effective and provides some powerful tools such as conditional formatting and alerts/notifications, team collaboration and resource allocation. Automated workflows will provide further functionality to minimise administrative requirements associated with all ISO Management Systems including ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
To make automation easier for everyone there have also been some terminology changes in the app, for example, the Alerts & Actions menu will be called the Automation menu.
